    Just don't. inaccurate A.I micromanaged all day everyday . Drivers get treated like Children with a A.i nanny cam. Management is a joke. Thier equipment is old and dirty . They don't wash their trucks or trailers but lie on paper work and say they do. They claim to be the "best in bulk" and have the dirtiest, oldest equipment rolling down the road. This company is going down fast and lost a lot of accounts due to dangerous A.i camera , micromanaging, dirty equipment, running off all experienced drivers. This is a hostile environment. Consider any or company. Bulkmatic is the Worst and Dirtiest in bulk! Shadiest to because they will #### you hard!

    Pay was good, equipment was decent. I have read numerous reviews that mention the word micromanaging, that should sum up my time at Bulkmatic. Always criticizing and critiquing what you do. Everyone in management will tell you how you are doing your job wrong but none of them have ever actually did the job. The safety director for my region was an arrogant know it all and had lots to say but would never listen. The terminal manager was clueless on any aspect of truck driving but in his defense he was probably being micro managed from the other managers. I took the job very serious and was dedicated to doing the best I could. Never late, never missed a day of work and never missed a delivery and had great relationships with customers and other drivers. Always represented the company in a positive and professional manor. That was never good enough. One of many examples of the misery at Bulkmatic, I was returning from a fairly long day and was caught in traffic due to an accident about 1 hour from the terminal. When I made it out of the traffic, I had 35 minutes left to drive on my ELD, gps said it was 44 minutes to the terminal. Called the terminal manager and explained the traffic delay and that I'm going to probably go over a few minutes of drive time. ( fmc regulations say that unforeseen traffic incidents is an excusable reason to go over) manager advised me that if I went over any amount of drive time I would be terminated. He made an angry comment that it was unprofessional to inform him that late in the day that I was going to have issues and that I should have informed him sooner. I had no idea that there was going to be an accident and it would delay me. I did inform him as soon as I knew. I ended up parking at a rest area but had no way to travel to a hotel. There was no uber or ride share in the rural area. Stayed in the day cab for 10 hours and then returned to the terminal to start the next day without any sleep. That is just one of many instances I could site of the horrible experiences from management. As stated earlier, I had many great relationships with customers and loved the type of work I did at Bulkmatic. It is much more than just a driving job and I thoroughly enjoyed the parts of the job that required the hands on labor and making sure the customer was satisfied with everything about the delivery. I was sad to leave Bulkmatic but the stress from management was too much. Since leaving my health is better, sleep is better and up to a healthier weight. The money was good but not nearly enough to have the stress that went with it.

    Red flag management with sd energy If your company is so safety oriented, why make me do a u-turn in a supermarket parking lot and you don't even know if I can drive, second trainer need to go get diversity training I don't know how to feel after my trainer ask me do I listen to snoop dogg and over step his boundaries when he said I might not be a good fit here isn't that management and Human Resources call the right driver would press a lawsuit

    Bulkmatic runs a fair game with a no push freight policy. They are pretty strict with most everything you could do behind the wheel.

    There are countless things wrong with this company but the main thing is that they DO NOT pay you properly. After about a month of working there, I was told by another employee to make sure I check my pay stubs. I'm glad I did because they have not failed to cheat me out of my pay. At first it was $30, $60, now it's over $1000! I know it sounds outrageous to believe but it is true. One of my checks was less than $40. No wonder they can't keep drivers. Trying to get in touch with the manger is useless. If, and when, they answer it takes over a week and that's with me calling everyday. No one there knows what's going on. I've turned in my jobs for the week and EVERY single week they decline some of it and they don't even tell you why. The pay for the loads are completely inconsistent. Dispatch changes the pay according to their moods. You have to pay for your motel rooms and fuel, in hope you'll get it back in the next check. I can say so much more but the most important thing is, stay away from this place. Working here is working for free.

    Great company to work for if you enjoy having your conversation recorded with your spouse and or family. There have a camera that faces you and the road. So they listen to your phone calls.

    I'm a linehaul driver and have a 19 Mack and does just fine. 300k, it's ready for a set of front shocks. 500 miles a day +. 3 weeks on and the 3 4 days off. All miles paid at .70 cents

    Not for Professional Drivers. Ask around. If you think you're going to have a rewarding career here, then think again! Just talk to their drivers. This is a weird bunch. I understand that 15 to 20 years ago, they required 5 or more years experience. But, because of the owners son's running the company, it forced the proprietor to come back. Also, because of the disrespect to the drivers, many of them left and so, now they had to lower their standards to get any driver they could. They have their rules. Violate that golden rule once, and you're fired. No exceptions. However, they think nothing of misleading their drivers. I've driven for almost 20 years now and this company is not good, not at all. They promise incredible pay, but that will vary and then they'll tell you that it will all average out at the end of the year. THINK ABOUT IT DRIVERS; if the pay was so good there, wouldn't just about every driver near one of their terminals be BREAKING their doors down to get a job at Bulkmatic??? Wouldn't Bulkmatic be picky by increasing their standards, their driving requirements by not hiring minimally experienced drivers??? Try this at UPS.... No, Bulkmatic is an incredibly, dishonest, misleading company. You will do shift work, you will get dispatched at the very last minute. You will hate it. Ask the drivers, ASK AROUND. Any company worth their weight in gold; does NOT OFFER JOBS EASILY. Bulkmatic is the biggest in its industry of dry bulk transport, but unfortunately, it's one of the most disreputable also. Sad, it used to be better, many, many years ago...
