***Updated review*** The day after I wrote the review below, a woman called me, confirmed my address, what type/size of truck would work for our address, and gave me a delivery window of 8 hours for the following day. She then gave me the option to receive a 30 minutes before delivery reminder call. The following day, within the delivery window, a polite gentleman called me and told me he would be arriving to the address in 30 minutes. They arrived exactly when they said they were going to be there and quickly and professionally delivered all of my boxes. All the items were there and all the boxes in perfect condition. I think that this company and IKEA must be having timeline communication problems. This company delivered on the reschedule they provided. So, I guess lesson learned... Don't trust the shipping info IKEA is giving you, consider it a suggestion of sorts, until you actually hear directly from CRST. I think it was probably IKEA I was really irritated with and I had originally misplaced the blame. Original review: Reviewing as I sit waiting for an IKEA shipment that had a 12 hour possible delivery window today. No delivery, no explanation. CRST's provided tracking number doesn't even work on their own website. IKEA confirmed it should have arrived today and said to "try waiting another 24-48 hours" and told me the item was "near me" and "in my city" as if that somehow helps me. So, I guess I will know in another 48 hours or so if they are going to deliver my order or not.

So far my experience has been similar to all other negative reviews. If they actually complete the pickup today and delivery within a reasonable amount of time (5-7 days to West Coast from MA) I will adjust my rating/review. So far they have rolled the pickup appointment twice. We scheduled with them for 5/8/18 and they were unresponsive/did not pickup. They then made an appointment for 5/9/18 for pickup at 10:30am. They failed to make that appointment and ended up not being able to show up until after 5pm when nobody would be available. They are supposed to pickup today anytime from 12pm-3pm and have been unresponsive. They have 30min left to complete this pickup within the appointment time THEY requested. Part of the reason they are not great is use of agent carriers. They are essentially outsourcing/brokering your freight to smaller carriers while claiming to be asset based. At least true brokers are transparent about their business models. 5/17/2018 update. After many service failures this company offered to move the freight in question free of charge. To me this shows that they are trying to provide an adequate level of service. In many cases carriers would just say sorry but not offer a discount of any kind. Updating from 1 to 3 stars.
