    Seniority can just call out whenever, the other drivers are worked until exhaustion. The trucks don't get worked on until breaking and then you're blamed for it.

    During orientation they sell you this awesome job with great pay you just have to go out and get it. Then after training your worked based on your seniority. Well since your new you'll be forced into switching (moving trailers in yard) for an 8hr shift making no money. When you are finally allowed to drive you'll be slip seating in bid drivers trucks that are off that day (the bid driver will usually complain about anything you've done in the truck) and work is based on seniority so you'll get a couple hundred miles and then be sent home(your work is based on the driver above you... even if they a lazy... you can't do more than them). Wanting to work is discouraged and frowned upon by snarky dispatchers that don't know you or want to know you.

    Midnights and weekends stink, no assigned unit for new hire, scramble to find truck every day. Low miles stops low seniority. Lied to me, make 100,000 a year, yeah right

    Overall it's a good job. They try and keep the drivers happy, offering occasional free food, bonuses etc. During peak retail season, they'll work you nearly to death, but the pay is great. Average pay is around $300 per day for 10-11 hours. 90% drop and hook at stores with some live loads at backhauls. All tractors are 2016 or newer cascadia daycabs with autos, some may see that as a plus.
