    I spent my time as an owner‑operator with Romerica Express running mostly auto parts expedited freight, and what stood out the most was how they treated me. Dispatch talked to me like a person, not a truck. When issues came up on the road, they worked with me instead of pushing blame. Pay was consistent, my time, my own schedule, my truck, you have the option to make money running less miles - something that's rare in this industry. I`ve never had a bad experience with management, really nice people focused on the driver and driver`s needs. most important - transparency - when comes to rate cons, deduction, exprenses.... I eventually moved on for personal reasons, but I still recommend them to drivers who want a company that communicates well and keeps you moving. They're one of the few carriers where you feel like part of a team.

    Equipment is good but given to driver trashed and dirty plus they run 3k lb heavier equipment for the car mfg. This company likes to load heavy. Over axle & over gross most of the times then tell you it's OK to run when state laws have changed for the apu laws. Also be rdy to be squeezed on time . Drama Queen dispatcher (only 1 guy) has no sense of time for dispatching. If u can not stay up with him then he will cry to owner until he gets u to resign. And YES , owner will believe his buddy over you the driver. Be very careful with these two individuals if u go to work for them. They are ex-factory workers with no sense of real trucking values and love to push Boundaries and hope you are stupid enough to the laws to get you to do things for their pocket book. Good luck if u try them. 20 truck fleet , no builds, no garage, medium grade insurance for driver. YES I did resign cuz I did not want to hot rod after 3 decades of driving and to protect myself from people like this . Dispatchers from the 90s again. Oh, they do Per dium
