    If you are planning to work for this company read this review first I was invited here by a good friend they promised him 1000 dollars for bringing me in if I worked for 3 months he never received that money The company structure is a mess if you need something be ready to call everyone because they don't pass information between departments which creates constant problems There is no night dispatcher the dispatchers fleet manager and safety manager live in Moldova when it is 5 pm for us it is night for them so you stay alone with your problems until the next morning After 3 months they promised to raise my percentage they did but only after two weeks of constant reminders About the deposit from 1500 dollars they returned only 1000 and only after dozens of calls they ignored and after Alex was convinced to return at least part of the money

    I've been with this trucking outfit for a couple years now, and it's a solid mid-sized operation focused on mid, to long hauls-mostly OS some OW but nothing too crazy. They keep things moving without too much drama, landing consistent loads through a mix of direct shippers and brokers. Pay's reliable, with decent mileage rates that beat some of the bigger carriers I've tried, but it's not without the usual industry headaches like occasional deadhead miles. Overall, it's a no-frills setup that gets the job done if you're looking for steady work without the mega-fleet bureaucracy. They handle load assignments quickly, and they're responsive if traffic or weather throws a wrench in. Companies pay off of percentage, depending on experience. They also have a lease to own program after being with the company for some time.

    I've been working with this trucking company for 3 years now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best decisions I've made. I've never had any issues - they are transparent, professional, and always responsive to any requests from drivers. One of the biggest positives is that there's no forced dispatch, and the dispatchers truly put in the effort to find the best and most profitable loads, based on your preferences. They place a strong emphasis on safety - their trucks are always well-maintained and fully DOT-compliant. On top of that, payments have always been on time, with no delays and full transparency. I highly recommend this company to both owner-operators and company drivers who are looking for a place where they'll be heard, respected, and appreciated for their work.     Avoid STRATAN INC - Unprofessional and Dishonest My experience with this company was terrible. The management is completely incompetent - they never respond on time, constantly ignore issues, and have no idea how to run operations. Their trucks are poorly maintained, and drivers are left waiting for repairs on the road for days, losing both time and money. They also don't return your escrow, even if everything is returned clean and on time. They invent random deductions with no explanation or proper notice. Just look at my settlement: • $1500 escrow "penalty" for no two-week notice, • $1200 for so-called "accommodation & recovery", • $250 for sending a picture a week late. All this - with no communication in advance. Even after earning referral bonuses, they still managed to deduct so much that I ended up owing them nearly $800 - total disrespect to drivers. There are plenty of honest trucking companies out there - this is NOT one of them. Stay away.
