I didn't intially have an issue as an employee. However, until I had issues with my car. The clutch went out. That happened the day I went to get my driver's license replaced. As somehow it had to have fallen out of my pocket at work the day prior. Of course as a driver I had to have such. After I aquired the new license. Clutch went out. I managed to get my car towed back to my home. Yet I missed I think about 2 to 3 days of work. A manager did pick me up to get to work the day after the clutch went out. However, this is what can irritate me: As I do believe the general manager developed a prejudice against me for honesty. As during a meeting between him and myself. I told him about my bad luck in life because of areas such as my car. He proceeded to tell me that he believes you create your own good luck. I seen that as trying to place the blame for what happens to me. In life, no matter what it is. Onto me lol. Therefore I mentioned how I had to watch my dad die of covid in the hospital. And if you have the power to create your own luck. Then that is my fault my dad died. And my aunt just a few months prior. Very bad time of year for my family. Basically I said that if that is true. If I could create my own good luck. My dad and aunt; numerous loved ones. Would still be here with me. As I don't believe in such. Life happens. You have no control. I didn't ask for such events to happen. Nor bring it on somehow. That is life. Now, what can anger me the most? I busted my butt to get my car back in operation. The mechanic got the part and installed in record time in relative to the amount of time it could have taken. I went back to work. And it wasn't until AFTER I put in another shift. And went home. And THREE DAYS later; while on my weekend. I get a call from the manager. The night before I was scheduled to return to work that week. I was let go of. Telling me it wasn't working out. I inquired about how I think it is more than that. His reply was "this isn't up for discussion". My reply to such rude comment? I deserve a better explaination than that. Pause on the other side lol. I also politely drove to the office and returned uniforms. I'm such a bad little employee lol.
