I loved it

I’ve had a great experience with TARTA Flex. The drivers and TARTA care about their riders and it shows. I left my keys on one of the buses/vans and the driver made sure that she was the one to pick me up from work so she could give me my keys back. And on the day when their systems crashed due to the global internet outage, the dispatcher sent me out a separate ride to help get me home. Yesterday, a driver called me trying to figure out who left their purse on a van to get it back from them. That is so kind of them and I can tell they are looking out for us. The vehicles are always clean and they are always on time. You can’t beat TARTA Flex for $3 a ride. It’s super easy to buy tickets on the app and order a ride, too. It only takes a few seconds and so can use apple pay. I am thankful to have this service available to me and the experience is light years better than the local taxi cab service that I probably don’t need to bother to name, where I’ve had drivers not show up (despite prepaying and pretipping), show up to the wrong address (how???), or *literally* scream at me for no reason. FYI: TARTA offers classes to teach people, especially younger folks, how to ride public transportation. This is such an essential service to connect the people of Toledo with different economic opportunities. They could come to a school and have some interactive fun for students.

Every year we utilize TARTA to transport our large group of 100 plus students and staff from the University of Toledo to the Toledo Mud Hens game. We utilize the regular bus route with extra buses of course to accommodate our group. The staff at TARTA who are always pleasant to work with and make it happen for our group are Fran M. and Frank D. The drivers are awesome as well. Thank you TARTA for provinding excellent service to The University of Toledo Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science Programs.
