    Horrible company to work for. Culture is yesterday price is not today's price. Their losing money by taking low paying contracts. So you make nothing. Get ready to run hard for low pay. End up with a bad back no pto. Save yourself the headache bump the dock.

    OVERALL TERRIBLE! They sell you on "OPEN DOOR POLICY, WE'RE FAMILY, GREAT EQUIPMENT, BEST DISPATCHERS". The reality once training is done, door is slammed shut on you. You can expect to run empty all the way from Long Island to Maryland, Dispatch won't get back to you, terminal manager will tell you, "well just run empty and try again tomorrow". Trucks consistently braking down. IT IS A MESS!!!

    Since they changed to force dispatch it's been horrible. You're doing full time work for part time pay. I use to love working for them but the new system doesn't benefit the drivers.

    If your a current driver then get out as fast as possible. I can compare it to the Titanic and upper management is the iceberg. If your thinking about working for United road forgot about it. You would be better off at Swift.
