Not once did either of you complain about the situation. I was your inconvenience, but you apologized to me for this happening to me. I’ve had many tows in my day, but never as far, and certainly never so pleasant to deal with. Great conversation with Darren on our 3 hour trip and I’ll let you know when I open my food truck lol! Pete came and towed me to their shop in Seville, Oh. When my transmission detonated on I80. I had a two and a half hour wait for the tow, and it took him about an hour and a half to hook me up. Price was reasonable for the hourly cost breakdown, and the tow driver Pete was easy to get along with. I spent the night in my truck on their lot that evening, and the next morning (friday), the shop manager Dan looked over my transmission, letting me know it would need a new one. The price and quoted time to put in the new transmission was reasonable, Dan said, "i can have this ready to roll by Tuesday evening" I took him at his word and grabbed a hotel room for the weekend. They offered me a discount rate card for the Quality Inn across the street. Come Monday, my transmission arrived about the same time my old one was removed. They noticed my rear main was seeping. They offered to swap it out, and I agreed. Tuesday night, my truck was completed and ready to roll. Alex was my primary mechanic and did a fine job. I will most likely keep this location in mind should I have mechanical problems in the future while away from home.
