TERRIBLE PAY. You can work at WalMart or Target and make more money and be at home every night. Technology training is awful. They don't know how to work the Eld's and app themselves. Raggedy trailers and dispatch is bs.

Boyd is a terrible company to drive for. The pay is super low. They don't care about their drivers. The trucks are new, so that's a plus. Log person never answers the phone, or return calls when messages are left. The ELD'S SUCK. Dispatch is a joke. They are sneaky, and THEY LIE. There is no transparency. They hide the true charge to the customer which doesn't allow the driver's pay percentage to be calculated correctly. You never know what you are going to be paid for each load, and they never let you know up front what it is. All they do is dispatch. If you ask what the pay is, you may or may not get an answer. It's like pulling teeth. The ELD and McLeod app training is terrible. But, they expect the driver to know their formats and operate and interpret them correctly. Trailers are junk. They have so many bad trailers on the yard, there is no where to park. Their driver turnover is ridiculous. Drivers quit on loads, and leave the truck, trailer and the load on the yard. I called "breakdown" a couple of times about a mechanical issue, and they NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE. This is a bottom-feeding starter company with "poverty truck driver wages." They have trainings every week to try and replace the drivers that quit. Stay away, because they think that $1000/week that they guarantee, before taxes, running all over the Southeast and the Midwest, is enough to survive on, and allow them treat you like a crap. Tarp pay SUCKS. A lot of drivers really don't care about maintaining the equipment because the pay is so low. You can't expect your drivers to look out for the company when the company isn't looking out for them. This place ain't it. I gave 4 stars in equipment and maintenance just for the truck.

The worst company ever keep pay checks or tell you somethings missing out of truck so they can keep more of your money dispatch sucks pay sucks the whole company sucks! Best bet is to close this company down trucks run 65 like highways now a days aren't 70 ! They blamed me for taking a tarp and keeping it when they have cameras on the truck that can be reviewed lol this company sucks!!

Worst company ever, just ask them about their turnover rate. I've averaged 700 a week 4 weeks in a row running hard
