Elegant Homes

The rent has increased a lot since the owners from California bought this park. Before (Previous local owner) Michelle sold the park to them, she maintained it round the clock, now they threaten you with fees for everything, if you pick up your leaves or debris, they are only supposed to be put out two days of the week, then they never come pick them up on those two days and then you are supposed to bring them back in or be fined. The road maintenance has gone way down hill, but our rent keeps increasing significantly when on a fixed low income budget. We are told rents are increasing due to maintenance costs when there has been no maintenance all year. When I brought up a safety concern in my yard from 2 people who fell and got hurt they looked at it and did nothing. Now they want to build 38 more mobile homes and our rent just increased again. Its all about more profit for them and we are paying for all this work. The locals cant afford to live here anymore. I have family that won't move in this park because the rent is 750 dollars for new tenants. This is not affordable for families or locals on fixed incomes. In addition to this we never had to pay for water it was included in our rent, not anymore. We can't get anything fixed because we have no extra money in order to hire anyone. HOA fees usually take care of there parks and pick up your bagged leaves and branches, take care of the roads, and don't threaten more fees on you for basic services etc. Have to pay monthly for your mobile home too in addition to HOA fee. Too much money in fees with little in return. It was better maintained with the park owner being local. I wish the tenants were given the option to purchase the park, but no option was given to us. Several residents also complain about this new company never responding back to them after writing to them. Communication needs to be improved. I really hope to see our services and Communication improve drastically in this park, so for now I'm only able to rate you two stars. I really think that before they start to expand the park and make 38 more homes, that they fix what they already have.

Lived here less than 3 years and couldn't leave this poorly managed park fast enough. If you are considering buying in this park do not drink the water or you may become as crazy as some of the people living there!

Quaint mobile home park nestled in the pines. Roomy lots, friendly neighbors, nicely run and maintained, and not far from the beaches!

Eye sore complaint about it nothing done.

Great place to live! Clean quiet neighborhoods.

I WAS interested in moving here. Well, I still am. But I will not buy from Elegant Homes....and if I have to go through that sales dept to buy a used home in the park, and not the owner themselves, then I wont buy in Blue Haven. I will be up in a couple weeks, and will go to the office to find out I guess. I certainly don't even want to speak to anyone in sales. Michelle is not a good representative of that company. My rating is for Sales at Elegant Homes. Michelle, in sales, responded in a quick manner by email a couple times....at first. Then I requested information. She sent an envelope. The model numbers in pamphlets were not the models pictures shown on website. So I emailed her and asked about that. I loved the looks of the pics they showed on website. I also was interested in some modifications in the new purchase. I didnt want the bedroom closet shelves, or bathroom mirrors. When she didn't respond after 4 days, I texted her, and mentioned she didn't seem quite so eager to help, thinking maybe she didn't know how to respond to my modification questions...because she didnt respond like the e/mails before, and told her I hoped she wasn't out sick. She texted back, said she was sorry, and was busy with incoming new homes. She stated she would get back with me by the end of the week. And that was last week. It is now the following Wed. , so needless to say, it's my opinion she's a bad rep for Elegant Homes. Hello...i want to BUY A HOME...chuckle...I will not buy a new home from them. I waited long enough. Thank you so much Muchelle.
