Worked here before and was going to come back. Had everything setup Then recruiting tells me sorry you need 6 months on the road OTR and running out west over the mountain pass. They were always awesome people but when I was told that just lost respect never had a bad thing to say about Holland.

I worked here for close to two years. It was......ok. I'd say it was a decent/average OTR trucking company but the pay was simply too low for me to continue working here. It's an ok company with the same problems as every other trucking company tbh.

Holland Enterprises, they coach drivers in how to break federal law. No way to say it nicely, they're criminals.

Great company if you want to run. They have the miles even with today's freight recession. Equipment is well maintained. Not perfect but good enough that it's likely I'll when it's time for me to retire someday it'll be from here. They pretty much do what they say the will do.

Been going to do this for sometime now. I was a driver at Hollander for 6 months. Been a driver for a total of 36 years. Was an owner operator from 2006 until 2017. I mhave to say holland was the best trucking I ever did in 36 years. Some of the nicest people out there. Everything I was told going into orientation. Spot on no lies what so ever. Excellent equipment. I never had an issue. I just wish I was a young man again. I would have stayed here and I must say. I quit August 23 and I miss it. But I'm 62 years old I have a new grandchild and my children want me home. HOLLAND IS WHAT TRUCKING SHOULD BE!

Holland pays orientation and detention that being on time with load. They pay you according to experience. 90% of the loads are 1800 miles or more and that is on a low side. I have been with Holland for 5 years and never have not been home when I'm supposed to be. Their minimum for drivers 11,000 mi a month they want you to run at least that. The equipment is always in tip top shape. Hollen hauls food. Pay is every week all loads turned in by 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. They do not babysit their drivers they expect you to be the professionals that you are supposed to be. Weekly miles is anywhere for 28 to 3400 mostly about 30 to 3,200. I have been driving for 27 years hauling his best over the road company I have worked for thus far. Come to work for Holland expect to run that's what being out on the road is about. Run east to west coast and you will see snow. As far snow goes we have chains it is the driver's choice whether to chain up or not. Holland has an open door policy if there's any problems communicate with them and they handle it immediately. Everybody there is extremely nice and professional and expect the same in return. Out of 5 years there has been four times when I wasn't assigned a load before I started to unload.

Safety Department misrepresented dashcam footage to law enforcement and refused to acknowledge the discrepancy and then lied about it. When Chris Holland (president of Holland Enterprises) was made aware of this, he replied, "F&$K OFF!" My wife was on 3 way call with me with another one of her friends when I made the call to Chris Holland. Her friend hung up and my wife stayed on the line and listened in... she was shocked at the unethical and unprofessionalism displayed by a president of a company.

There dispatchers are nasty attitude. On par with the mega carriers.the freightliners are great, except that gov 68.they don't micromanage when inrout.but you will get a relay with anouther driver cause out of hrs thing.happend tome on average twice a month. Shop maintenance is the best.you like driving northern tier, there alright.look, there dispatchers are mean, don't care about you, listen to you.alot more on that.Im now with a same more or less, way better otr now northern tier. Not the same in regards to dispatcher s.way better.

One of the only good 48 state otr companies left. Equipment is well taken care of. Pay is competitive and you'll get the miles which counts considering the shaky freight market. There's companies that might offer much higher per mile or "salary" but those companies won't have the freight or the miles, or they are burying themselves. Holland has always had a good solid base and reputation. There's no bs and they leave the drivers alone. Trucks are well taken care of and equipped with huge refrigerators, tv (optional if you want a tv in the truck or not, but it's nice to have so I suggest why not go for it). No micromanaging, there's none of that "fuel solution" garbage like the mega's use.

At 1st was a great company, then after a couple of years changes were made to benefit the company and not the driver. Expected to live in the truck. Favoritism is shown to some drivers as they do not have to mainly hangout in the North East as a few do.
