At every other trucking company that I've worked for since 2004, and it's more than I would like, has only known me by my truck number. Whenever I had a personal issue, just needed to talk to someone or be paid and treated like a person, I was rebuffed. That has NOT been my experience here at Cox. Granted I'm just now at 88 days of employment, I have never been treated like a number. Actually, when I call into the shop, dispatch or safety etc, I give my truck number and the person seems to pause, as if confused why I'm giving it. That in itself makes me feel good and makes me feel like I made the right choice coming over to Cox. Now in my 88 days I've had some ups and downs, which is to be expected, it is Trucking after all. But, anytime that I've broken down which is only happened once or made a small error, I've never been treated like a bad person, or even that it was really my fault. Whoever I spoke to just seemed to understand that stuff happens, and they made it right, and made it right quickly. The people in the shop, Shannon and Albert and the crew, are always willing to help even when they're in the middle of doing something, and spend a few seconds, B.S.ing with me. I really enjoy talking to people and the people that work here seem to enjoy talking back to you. Also, when I had to deal with safety which most truck drivers try to avoid at all costs, hahaha, Mike and Bryant have been very helpful and understanding. Providing good tips, not just "this is what you're supposed to do and I don't want to hear anything else." For the last 3 months every member of the team have done their very best to get me back to see my family, if even just for an overnight, and I greatly appreciate that. Also after only about 2 months with the company I needed to readdress the way and how much I was paid so that I could continue to be with the company for the Long Haul, and they accommodated me quickly and very much to my satisfaction. So, what I would tell others about Cox and why they should come drive with us, is what I've told at least two other drivers so far, in just my 88 days, they may not pay the highest in the industry, I know they're working on that, but they treat you like family, they handle problems when they come up, and they get you home like they say they're going to, as well as keeping you busy when you are working. In this day and age, in this industry, and in this economic environment, I have to say I feel like I made the best and right choice for me and my family to continue my Trucking career. I hope to have the opportunity to work for Cox Trucking for the rest of my career.

Years ago back in 2012 I had just moved to St. George and was looking for work. Luckily my wife knew Don working with the Chamber of Commerce in St. George. And he said if I would go to a good school and get my CDL he would give me a chance to work for Parke cox. As it turned out I got that chance and have never looked back. I had the opportunity to get to know Parke and Emily, it just felt like a big family everyone is so nice and treat everyone like an equal. I've always enjoyed working with all the dispatchers throughout the years . Proud to drive the new trucks and trailers. They say a happy employee is a productive employee and that's how I feel about PARKE COX TRUCKING, I've had a lot of friends jump from one trucking job to another throughout the years, I'm proud to say I've been with Cox my whole career as a driver and will be here until I retire….

Screw these people. Run your ### off for them, and you are good. Get hurt? You are expendable in every way. I worked my ### off for them over 10 years ago. I never complained. I never turned down a load. Did everything they asked with a smile.

The respect for a drivers clock isn't there. If you break the clock for their benefit, you hear nothing. But if you break it for your benefit (to sleep at home) you are mud. You tell the dispatchers your time constraints and BANG..here is another assignment. And those driver cams are silly. Look down and you get a "behavior ". Like you are a child.

Well this company except to drop off a load which you can barely make it due 2 several factors one there trucks only go 65 mph and then the don't account for roads with curves and hills. Then They have cameras in the truck that watch everything you do it's absolutely annoying and then sometimes when you get to your destination you have a certain time to drop it off but no one's there it's hard as #### they may just sound so easy. You can't just like stop and take a shower or nothing cuz you got to be on the road That's one problem and so far the pay is garbage. $762 a week And then they asked you to not idle your truck when is 125 ####### degrees outside at night and you're sweating your ### off. They don't care about you or you life you will drive from 8am to 2am then sit in a hot truck. Im not interested in long haul trucking no more Plus they keep buying freightliners pieces of #### trucks The worst suspension the drive is hard especially taking back roads through New Mexico and Arizona has the worst roads ever but to be honest you're not making no money that's the problem and then on top of that they have a camera that tells you how to drive like #### off already. Your best in this day and age to get your own truck and work for yourself because everybody sucks

The pay is not good only $.40 a mile. You have to watch your paychecks cause they don't pay you for all your runs.

Buyer beware, this place is a joke. They have the lowest pay in the industry, the ops manager is a reject from England and can't even dispatch a driver without screwing it up. They have every single member of their family involved, and are very top heavy with management. The pay scale is a shell game, and you will not make even 60k per year working there. Their driver turnover rate is insane, and their senior slip seat drivers are the most miserable people on the planet. Drivers are not allowed into the shop for any reason at all. Keep looking this is not where you want to work.
