    I was misled by Ruan's recruiters during the hiring process. They promised opportunities that didn't exist. Once on the job, the company is highly micromanaged and the pay is low for the work required. Overall, I would not recommend working here based on my experience. The Recruiters are absolute clowns in the minnesota area.

    I had worked at Ruan for the last 2 years until I bought my own truck. Here is my review on Ruan. Although my experience at Ruan has been great it's a bit different than most since I was a Flex driver. Ruan is comprised of regional accounts and each account pays differently it just depends on what account you work. And then there's flex. As a flex driver you are sent out for 3-5 weeks at a time to assist with regional accounts that are short staffed and they pay you out hourly where all flight travel and other travel from the hotel and back is all paid. They give you per Diem per day with hotel and a rental car for the whole time that you are out on assignment. My last year I was making around 120k/year and it's been phenomenal. They have some of the best people that I have ever worked with anywhere.

    Recruiting will lie about workweek and hours. Stay away from box truck division. Management is terrible. Been there 10 months and have had 3 different fleet managers quit. 2 said upper management was trying to make them make unethical decisions. HR is a joke and will lie. Pending lawsuit in the works as I type this

    Management is poor they need better management. They threaten you with your job when you run out of hours and it's either their way or the highway multiple people have filed complaints with the DOT and the federal motors carriers association. The upper management is super poor.

    The equipment is good. Worked out delta fcp getting paid 26 hr made 700 bucks a week barely getting hours there. Recruiter lied about hours regarding overtime barely got 40 hrs. Management is terrible they micro manage alot. They have cameras facing looking at you. Govern at 65 mph. It's a terrible place to work low pay. Work environment is toxic. High health insurance and low pay to go along with it. You're just a number at that company. Micro Management micro aggressive when it comes their drivers. It's a popularity contest there. If they like you they'll keep you. Not worth looking into low hrs low pay. Look elsewhere

Paychecks are like this. 2210 mi/wk = $1481. 2300 mi/wk = $1546. 2520 mi/wk = $1704. 2660 mi/wk = $1805. Weekends make $$. Add $0.20 more ALL weekend. Drive 800m-1100m on Sat, Sun. Add $0.05 all miles over 2200m/wk. 2300m-2500m, 5 days. 3X year 2700m, 5 days. Home 2 days Straight! Tue-Wed or Wed-Thu. Out 5 days, regional. WI, IL, IN, OH, MI. How to get to $90K? Work 6 days during busy weeks ONLY. Holiday freight. Nov-Dec, Mar-Apr, Jun-Jul. 5 days, rest of year. Not mandatory, volunteer only. More, IF I want it. With RUAN Pleasant Prairie... Job NOT complicated. Hook van/chilled DC. Drive 1-5 hr. next stop. Most stops easy find. Many stops @ E-way! Drop load, hook empty. Return to DC next load. Freight will NEVER end. ALWAYS moving. Live load minimized. High % pre-load trailer. 800+ trailer rotation. THIS network is solid. Nearly 100% no touch. Just sit back and drive. An EQUAL PAY job. New trucks 2023. Health Insurance... Blue Cross Blue Shield. Several plans to pick. Pick the plan that fits. Delta Dental Several plans to pick. Pick the plan that fits. 401K company match.

    They are some liars. HV in Durant is horrible, stated that I was terminated but you can't terminate someone that had quit a week prior.

    Seniority based company or at least in our branch , basicly new hires will get left over loads and possibly work only 3-4 days with 30-40hr weeks
