    They double broker freight. They are the epitome of racist white trash America. They will lie cheat and steal from you. Wait until you take hometime off. Three days off here means net zero income for two weeks. I learned the hard way they don't respect hard working Americans. They only want to punish drivers who don't bend the knee to their white trash cult. The driver lounge is a homeless shelter. There was a homosexual washing his pots and pans in the laundry sink. There was a woman with no teeth washing her clothes and left dog hair everywhere and didn't even clean up after herself. They will steal money from you. They are not your friends they go off people's hire right.

    I've been with Soar long enough to ride out the ups and downs, and through it all this place has come to feel like home. The pay is fair, and the percentage setup means you truly control what you bring in. If you stay steady, manage your fuel and hours smart, you'll see the rewards in your settlements. What keeps me here isn't just the numbers though. It's the way Soar treats ICs like real business partners, not just another truck in the lineup. Freight stays consistent, the support is there when you need it, and I've never felt like I had to fight for every mile. Even when the market's been tough, I've been able to keep moving forward because of how this setup works. At the end of the day, you've got to run this like your own business because it is. But if you're the kind of driver who wants to build something lasting, Soar gives you the foundation to do it. For me, it's been the best move I've made, and I plan to keep rolling with them.

    Edit: read full review before also. Speaking with people who still work there they changed to a 75% "adjusted gross" and set truck payment to flat rate now (800+ a week). Turnover is also outrageous in the office. I have been an O/O for years and this place is dirty and cheap. Do not come here unless you live on I-80 or I-90 and even then use caution. I say this because when you get those loads that you have way too many days under, you can at least go home. People who work there but the pay of $1.40 plus $0.50 deadhead isn't enough. $300-400 a week truck payment plus 0.25 cents for EVERY mile the truck moves. You pay for every trailer wash (most of their customers require one and that's $45 bucks or more on both ends of the load). And on the note of Trailer washes, you'll find yourself in areas where you have to go out of route 100+ miles to get one. That's still on you. I myself have personally had to go more than 200 miles out of route to get a wash out to pick up a load. In my opinion, their customers are way too far apart. They don't pay the fuel they don't pay that $.25 a mile (all miles the truck moves and it adds up) they don't care all they care about is covering their customers. Regardless, how much it cost the drivers. You will either have way too much time on a load. Or not enough time at all. There is absolutely no in between. 6 days to go from Illinois to Washington. Can't deliver early. Or you'll get a load that you physically cannot make running -You never know the fuel discount you're getting at any station til you get paid. -The "driver tech" will route you around tolls (even if it's 100 miles longer) and you have to put in all of your stops on your own. Just bring your own GPS and be done with it. It's easier. -They will give a fuel voucher to make you think you're making great money. But when all the mileage and payments come out, yeah it's an issue. -You'll either have too long under a load or not long enough. - One thing really sketchy is the truck leasing company shares the same address as Soar. There isn't a physical location for them. And although they'll tell you about the owner as he is an investor from Ohio. What you pay every week on top of maint/trailer washes/truck supplies Truck payment $300-400 a week depending on truck Base Plate & Permits $44.23 Physical Damage 3.22% of Equipment Value Bobtail/NTL (all trucks are valued at $125k) $8.31 Occ/Acc $31.38 ELD Fee $16.00 PrePass $4.00 Transflow $10.00 Fuel & Mileage Tax $0.0125 per mile Escrow $2,000.00 & $2,500.00 $0.08 per mile until $2,000.00; $50 per week until $2,500.00 Federal Heavy Use Tax: 2290 $10.65 IC engagement fee (for 1 year) 62.50 a week $0.25 for every mile the truck moves Look on social media (the one with a blue/white icon) for Soar transportation. It's not just me. There is an entire group of people sharing their story. And during orientation they will stress (repeatedly) about if you quit being the truck back. It's obvious a lot of drivers abandon their equiptment by sheer number of times they say it. Which is sad because truck abandonment haunts you. I didn't quit, I was terminated I was injured unable to work for a few days. They refused to allow me to bring the truck back or come back to work like 3-4 days later. They kept racking up charges and sent me to a collection agency. Ironically the people who did it no longer work there. ❤️????????8

    I would give a zero if i could!!! Dont even come to work at this place, it's a complete joke!! They have some kid with lack of intellect running the show in orientation for starters. They lie to you about being paid for detention and while their trailer is in the shop. They try to give you loads you cannot legally run as a solo driver. Moreover, they steal money from your stelments. You will have so....many charges taking out your check you can barely survive. The recruiter will lie his a** off to get his commission for you. I have never in 25 years seen or worked with such a shady, dishonest company. And i was only there 6 weeks!!! I have had trailers break down with product getting warm and they try to send you to the cheapest place to have trailer cooler fixed. ####, they dont care they just recool the product. Im sure thier customers would like to know how they operate. Honestly, their trailers are so bad from tires, neglected maintenance and poor insulation. You can feel all the cold refergernt coming out the trailer doors and all the way around the trailer. I cannot believe they are allowed to haul food. I can only imagine how many people have gotten sick from this carrier. This place needs to be turned over to the proper authorities to insure food items are handled properly according to the food and drug administration. Drivers, you have been warned. If you want to be stolen from; drive trailers that are going to be a DOT violation; given brokers loads only a team can run, not be paid for detention nor trailer repair this is the company for you.     This is a little bit different type of a trucking company. I've been driving a truck for over 43 years and to be honest it takes a little bit to get used to them and how they work but if your patient ask a lot of questions and pay attention things get better real quick, I've been with them for two months and it's been great dollar 40 loaded mile $.50 an empty mile no touch freight brand new trucks Cascadia or 579. If you wanna run, you know you stay in touch and communication constantly with them and they will take care of you , they are a little different on how they operate but like I said be patient and get used to them and things are good , brand new trucks , the entire company is lease purchase 400 first week 300 every week after for four years completely walk away lease
