Can't give them a star if I could I'd shove my foot up their ### lying cheaters, it started good until they bought it from Wilson and they starved me out at the last 50,000 miles to finish my lease. Needed 395000 miles to finish my lease, had 345,000 and I did this in 3 yrs instead of 5 yrs. F them hope your furniture company fails. No business in the OTR business. Also the Portland Oregon terminal is permanently closed, what happened ? Skipped town owing people money ?? Also the Dot alongside the IRS needs to look into this company. They don't break down your payments, they just give the Total pay without including the payments they take out for maintenance costs permits insurance PMs tires escrow none of these things are listed as deductions from pay it just shows so and so made 195000 Dollars for the year but doesn't say they were paying 1000 dollars a week just in leasing the truck and all of the other owner expenses, sounds to me that they might be in the tax evasion business ?? The department of revenue has the same information I have and nothing is itemized to exactly what I was paid and what they had taken out from the money that they claim I made for the year. They can't claim that someone made 100,000 dollars a year if they've taken 60,000 dollars just in truck payments. And that's not including the rest of the money that they took out for the rest of the crap, so out of that 100,000 dollars you might end up with 30,000 or possibly 20,000. Not very good pay

Worked for them for 1 years 6m and it was the worst experience I have ever had, poor management, worse planners, horrible equipment, missed holidays, missed home time, violated vacation request, tried to violate rights.

Very poorly managed and low paying no matter how much clean driving experience you have. It's just like all the other bad companies that lie to you to get you in and nothing is what you were told or promised. No one to ever pick up the phone when you need help. The checks are very very shady and the per diem is wrong . All the guys in my orientation kept in contact and all had bad bad issues first week out like no one's truck being ready for a week or more all of us where at a different company within 2 months oh and breakdown pay is 75 bucks a day so you start out behind with these guys . No advances either so no help there and if you think you don't have to fight for every cent of your money . Think again, they have no payroll department no human you can call or talk to when your check is wrong . You won't get money that's owed to you .Only an email that no one ever answers . If your okay with low pay and having your money being funny on payday, try em out . They know your coming 2 weeks before orientation and then when they send you to your truck you'll find out your basically on your own with a super aged omnitracs system to communicate. The mechanics showed me 4 different trucks my original was in shop status and they told me no one should have been assigned this truck yet. I got to pick from bad to worse of the 4 .I took the Peterbilt 579 ultraloft the other 3 were freightshakers all in horrible condition missing skirts and fairings all kinda cracked bent and broken . Just embarrassing to drive . You'll also find out they don't have Volvo or petes like your recruiter told you no all freaightliners and a very small handful of Pete's no Volvos at all .Ashley distribution has Volvos.NOT apw Then all your checks and apps say Wilson logistics not Ashley. Turns out you need to apply to Ashley distribution which is a separate company if you want to work for Ashley. So it's all this big trick and game in the end and you won't realize it until the end of orientation.

There is little to no communication with dispatch. They don't have a clue whether a load is d&h or live. At times it was my fault roads were closed and I couldn't deliver on time. There is no clear chain of command and the higher ups don't seem to care anyway. Maintenance is minimal, if they can get away with it, basically they will bandaid it for now and then pay more for a road call later. Miles swing wildly from week to week, lots of brokered loads as they appear to not have enough contracted loads for the drivers they have.

I give 1 star cause I have to or I would give 0 stars across the board I'm a current employee and tell you this I would not recommend my worst enemy to this company my highest check has been $1306 the other checks have been around $400 equipment Is constantly broke down they don't pay you sit on loads for at least 24 hours up to 3 days they tell you appt time that don't exist send you for double booked loads don't give you appointment information to deliver loads you can never get a hold of anyone in dispatch or management or if you do they take hours to respond back

Have worked with Wilson for many years and then Ashley bought us and everything went down hill from there. What most of us thought was going to be for the better, after two years turned out the complete opposite. Management is very incompetent, dispatchers don't know what their doing, company has lost many accounts resulting in practically no loads despite what they tell you. A furniture company has no business getting into freight logistics and does not know what they are doing. All the micro managers and pencil pushers in Wisconsin over analyzing and looking at spreadsheets have no idea and does not care one cent about the drivers. Best thing I ever did was run away from this company.

When Ashley bought Wilson's PNW heavy-haul fleet many of us cheered, until we found out that Ashley was keeping the Wilson dispatcher and customer service crew. A couple of them really care about the drivers in their fleets, but the others, while personable, are basically incompetent. The maintenance crew are very knowledgeable, but is overworked, under staffed and is lead by a "Yes man". In my opinion their biggest problem with hiring new drivers is that many of the trailers still have the name of the previous owners (Wilson Logistics) on them. Wilson has earned a solid reputation for alienating drivers. I've talked to other drivers who are interested in driving for Ashley, but the Wilson Logistics branded trailers are a HUGE turn-off. Wilson Logistics literally eliminated hundreds of driver jobs and because the trailers say Wilson Logistics they are keeping qualified drivers away. Ashley has dozens of vacant trucks in their yards, mainly because prospective new hires believe they are still associated with Wilson Logistics. The company has local drivers who mainly haul containers to and from the ports, so it often falls on the OTR drivers to do local runs, which eats up the logbook. Miles vary by the week. My miles range from 1,300 to 1,800 a week with only 1 week in the last year being over 2,000 miles.

It's a joke.. why train and school more drivers; when you can't keep current drivers moving? The current drivers is getting very frustrated with irregular pay. There is definitely a disconnect between management and employees . Management is full of excuses for the lack of loads- the trust is gone. As for truck maintenance, you are lucky to get it. The maintenance dept in Portland yard is very slow and don't care. Currently , there is quite a few trucks way overdue for maintenance . We were told to not bother them- a new system is being implemented . We need to be patient. That was over 2 months ago…Also, the pay is low.. they promise a pay raise, but no one has seen it. Maybe, they are busy dumping money into the training dept vs paying employees a fair wage and maintaining the equipment. Too many broken promises…
