As a driver I have always thought Knight was a great company and stood by there drivers. Well today May 30th, 2024 I found out they do not care about the drivers at all. To have this driver broke down on this property he delivered a load to us is sad. And part of the worst part since 11am this driver has been sitting on this yard SINCE 11am. HE CONTACTED HIS DISPATCHER FOR HIS DISPATCHER TO SAY NOTHING THEY CAN DO. I SAW THE MESSAGE- nothing you can do REALLY. U have got to be joking. This driver has been calling in and no one picks up. THIS IS SAD FOR A BIG COMPANY LIKE KNIGHT TRANSPORTATION. I called the night dispatcher for help for there driver and Mr. Dan tells me he can’t do anything. U have a driver broke down since 11am sir it’s 9:45pm and no one is calling him back. This is why drivers are short cause they get with companies that treat drivers like this. Oh well he can call road side: I said sir he did is it nothing you can do or call the driver - DAN SAYS NO. Y’all have just let this driver know how y’all feel about him. He’s been driving with y’all 2 months and this is how y’all treat a driver. (IF IT WASN’T FOR THE DRIVERS YOUR LOADS WOULDN’T BE DELIVERED. ) This is wrong he is literally sitting here not knowing what to do. He was suppose to go home today with his family YALL ARE WRONG. As a trucker myself this is upsetting me - It’s 10:18pm and still nothing WOW Drivers be aware / now if he leaves the truck it would be abandonment
