    Good family owned company. Equipment breaks down a lot due to the def engines. Newer trucks and trailers. Pay is ok but could be better. They pay for your health insurance.

    The equipment breaks down like regular equipment but they don't want to pay to fix it. There is plenty of hometime but that's because of lack of freight not requesting it. The pay sucks you max out at 50 cpm loaded and 30 cpm empty which averages 40 cpm and yes whatever you run will be the same amount if not more miles empty. So average it out. If you tell dispatch you're in the shop you will get dispatched same day and thrown under the bus to the boss like you didn't make anyone aware you were in the shop. Honestly you can make more at swift transportation.
