Canal Transportation LLC

Canal cartage is no longer..Gulfwinds is now the Company Name

On Monday, my appointment was at 13:00, but my product was ready. I got to the door at 10:40 and was out probably after 30-40 minutes. I showed the way I got there in the attached picture. There was a sign saying 'no trucks' on the bridge above the highway, but I drove there because I had no idea if there were any other roads.

The ladies of the receiving office are very professional, the forklift drivers are very fast, they gave me an appointment for noon and when I got there told me they were going to go lunch

Bad attitude by employees they load you fast

Busy place for sure.

This facility is extremely slow for pickups. In my experience, a simple pickup took about 2-3 hours, sometimes even 5-6 hours. This is a terrible facility and company that has no respect for drivers’ time. A message to brokers, dispatchers, and drivers: avoid this place, and if you’re going to pick up a load, think twice beforehand. This facility is just not worth it.

On Friday afternoon came to pick up a load before 3:30 pm arrived at 2:30 pm checked in they said they have to confirm the load with customer, 5 pm still waiting, I had to leave and find me another load, stay away from shipper.

Rxo booked me on a load for good Friday and no one showed up to load it.
