On May 15, 2025, while driving northbound on Interstate 5 near Bakersfield, California, I had a very unsafe experience with a truck operated by Capital Express Lines, trailer number 53108. The driver was tailgating my truck aggressively before passing me at a high speed. After passing, the driver cut back into my lane extremely close to my front bumper within approximately 5 feet while my truck was traveling around 55 mph and their truck appeared to be traveling near 65 mph. This kind of reckless driving creates a serious danger for everyone on the road, especially for commercial drivers operating large vehicles. I hope the company addresses this issue and reinforces safe driving practices with its drivers.
