Urgent Safety Concern Regarding Reckless Driver at KeHE Distribution Center – Dallas, TX To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to report a serious safety incident that occurred on September 29, 2025, between approximately 4:00 and 5:00 AM at the KeHE Distribution Center in Dallas, Texas (the only KeHE facility in the area). I am a professional truck driver with over 10 years of experience in the industry, and I take safety—both mine and others’—very seriously. While walking through the distribution center lot wearing a high-visibility safety vest, I was nearly struck by one of your drivers operating at what appeared to be over 30 miles per hour within the facility grounds. This is not only dangerous but completely unacceptable behavior in such a confined and busy area where drivers and pedestrians are moving about regularly. There is no possibility the driver did not see me—I was clearly visible. His reckless actions were not only negligent but showed a complete disregard for the safety of others. After the near miss, I reacted by throwing a small rock at his truck out of shock and frustration. The driver did not stop, acknowledge the incident, or show any concern—suggesting he was fully aware of his actions and chose to ignore them. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I’ve observed unsafe behavior from drivers affiliated with California-based companies like BB Logistics and Cheema. I have filed formal reports with both the FMCSA and Texas DOT regarding this incident. Whether the driver was running late or under pressure is irrelevant—there is no justification for endangering lives. I strongly urge your company to review the conduct of your drivers, reinforce safety training, and take immediate corrective action before someone is seriously injured or killed.
