    Well, davis transfer is now USA truck. Before the whole transition, davis was not too bad. I was home 2 days a week and had pretty steady loads to Texas most weeks that were easy. Dispatch in carnesville was trash but I was sent to Dave's board in lakeland and that's when I was having a better time. I was with the company for almost 6 years and knew when usa truck policies were going to take full effect, I was out. I heard hometime was going to change from home 2 days a week to home for only 34 hours a week, screw that. I didn't like what USA truck was going to start doing. They even cut the mechanics overtime. Overall, davis was ok but could have been better.

    No money here. Since bought by USA as an owner op I'm starving. Can't afford truck maintenance. I was hoping things would change but it's only gotten worse. They took all loads away and went with slip seat drivers. Sad thing is they still continue to bring in drivers who leave quickly.

    They promise $4500+ of revenue per week. I've been there for 2 months and only 1 week have I reached that goal. Your profit as an owner operator with them will hardly exceed $2800 per week. If on Thursday you reach $4000+ revenue they will send you loads at a rate that will barely pay Diesel and they will say you didn't reach $4500+ because you rejected loads. FORCED DISPATCH. If you refuse the bad loads that only pay for diesel they put you out of service and leave you stoped for one day. Deadhead normally 110+ miles especially monday and fridays. 50/50 drop and hook and live loads.

    Davis transfer has gone way down they put all of their loads into split seat drivers who trash the equipment and don't care for anything and the owner op division is starving
