    TruckersReport Review

The shittiest company I ever worked for! Ran by two nepo baby sons of Dee King who don't know #### about Trucking, or business. They've overextended the Trucking company into other areas including truck and trailer sales, and a wrecker business, and they must be losing money all over, because they are the cheapest ######## I've ever encountered in 14 years in the trucking business! They don't pay #### (.58 per mile) with no extra stop or drop pay, and half the time you're in detention for live loads and unloads, and you have to fight them EVERY time just to pay detention, and they cheat you on your pay every week. They expect you to run illegal, over HOS, and overweight, while they micro-manage you with driver facing cameras! They don't pay for training/orientation or the DOZENS of training videos they make you do online, and put you up in a dirty on-site bunkhouse that doesn't even have clean beds, towels, or a decent shower. You have to fight for home time, and even when its requested in advance, they don't even make sure you get home when you need to for doctor's appts, etc. THEY JUST DON'T CARE!!! They don't pay for DOT basics like washer fluid, and coolant if you're on the road, and the bulk containers at the yard are empty most of the time. The truck that was issued to me was only two years old, but it was trashed by previous drivers, and they didn't even clean it, or give me a clean mattress! It had tons of mechanical issues, and the in-house shop is COMPLETELY WORTHLESS AND NEVER GETS ANYTHING DONE - JUST BLOWS IT OFF! The starter went out on the truck, and it literally took them two months to replace it! Just had to leave it running, and could not shut it off for two months! They chage you a $2,500 "bond" escrow account for I don't even know what, and they don't refund your money when you leave! Their benefits are the worst - Medical Insurance with a $6,000 deductible - WORSE THAN OBAMACARE! Good luck calling into dispatch from 7PM - 7AM and reaching anybody, and on weekends forget about it! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

They had switched to foreign dispatchers that treated experienced drivers like newbies. One of the owners wanted to fight me when I refused to be micromanaged by the out sourced foreign dispatchers. They get angry if you want to spend time with your family. I made awesome money and drove a very nice rig.

I have worked with Dee King for 2 years and have enjoyed it, they treat you like family. They keep you moving with minimal reload times. Never had a problem getting home.

This is the worst company to drive for hauling cattle! They expect you to work 24/7 it seems. They don't care if you only get couple hours of sleep and expect you to be too early to feedlots when they aren't even loading yet. No holiday pay no standby time even if you had to wait 4 hours to get loaded. They're a joke!
