Dewitt Transportation LLC

TruckersReport Review

Worked for Dewitt transportation and was told a W-2 position, they then sent me t W-2 and said it's a #1099 position, so I reported to the IRS they will not comply or send me the correct paperwork.

I have been with DeWitt for about 3 months and I must say this is the best company I have been with. They treat you like family. Whenever I call, someone is always there to answer and help me with whatever I need. And the best part to me is, I never have to wait on my loads. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Best company ever. They treat me like family with respect and always make me feel good. Trucking is just the business here you get so much more. If you’re reading this stop being with a loser and get with a winner. I did.

DeWitt transportation is a great small company to work for where you're not a number. You're actually a person who is recognized for how you are as a driver and as a family person. They treat you with kindness and respect. And if you're a driver who's willing to work hard, you can make excellent money here if you have good communication skills. Good driving skills and you have a desire to work then you'll do well here.

This is not your average trucking company. You're not just a number. I regularly call and talk with the owner (Tim DeWitt) sometimes for an hour or more at a time. Tim cares about his driver's and their family's. He's extremely down to earth. The office staff are super cool. You have a Guaranteed weekly pay rate with bonuses which takes the financial instability out of the equation for us driver's. I have a sense of pride working for this company and there is camaraderie amongst the drivers. It's a little family. If I'm OTR, this is the only place I want to work.
