Drivers Use extreme caution if you think your under a lease purchase contract and see phrases like " rent to run" or phrases that say "you may or may not receive title for truck you are paying for" then it's a scam and you will never own the truck! A legitimate contract will list total number of payments as well as the total purchase price. If you do not see the phrasing stipulating lease purchase and terms of how and when you will receive title then you never will! If a company tells you over and over about their transparency yet refuse to let you see original rate con from broker ask yourself why they refuse, could it be the broker paid higher amount than you were told? Ask brokers to confirm rate con, most will not tell you but some will. You will find out like I did best to cut your losses and move on. When you ask to be given a document detailing you are buying the truck, they will refuse to put anything in print that you could use to prove you were promised a title at the end of agreement. The worst company ever. You have to pay for everything as a company driver. I was home during the holidays and had medical emergencies. I sent out an email to let my dispatcher know then days later my boyfriend told me my truck was gone. I thought it got towed and went to every tow yard in Tampa to look for it only to find out the company came and got it with all my belongings in there cause they THOUGHT i abandoned it even though i emailed them about what was going on. So instead of using common sense to call me they took it and charged me damn near 900$. Now I have to fly from Tampa to Chicago just to get my things.
