On February 5th, 2025, I'd scheduled two trips the day before. The first one was to Rolling Oaks Radiology early in the morning, and the second one was to my local library, to be there by 4:30. Arrival at my first appointment was fine, but when I was waiting to be picked up, I saw a bus driver go by but didn't stop and drove past where I was waiting. I waited for the call but didn't get it. I walked to the restroom, and on my way out, I heard a call come in but went straight to voicemail. Checked, and it was Ruth, telling me the driver was outside and would be leaving in a minute. Took me about five seconds to walk out and saw the driver already leaving. I waved and rushed towards him, but he took off. I called dispatcher again to let them know I'd been left behind. It was Ruth who told me she'd called me, and I didn't pick up. I thought it was the: This is an update from Gold Coast. The driver will be picking you up between six and eleven minutes deal. No point in arguing. Ruth then said she didn't have another bus and to call back in 15 to 20 minutes. It was raining, and I was hungry. I opted for the public bus and walked several blocks till I found a bus stop. It took me two buses to get to Oxnard and then another ride to get home. Rushed to eat and get ready for my next appointment. Bus driver went all over town before dropping me off and a bit late. Pick up from this appointment was getting late, too, so I called dispatch again. They said the driver would arrive in 15 to 20 minutes. Didn't arrive. It was now not only still raining, but it was getting dark, and it was cold and a bit windy. I called dispatch again. They told me the driver was turning on the Main Street and would arrive in five minutes. When the driver arrived, she was coming from the opposite direction and almost hit me when she made an abrupt turn. I had to take a few steps back very fast. She then made another weird, fast, and reckless turn and almost hit me again. She was talking with the passenger on the bus and was obvious she wasn't happy having to pick me up. Not my problem. I always schedule my trips very early in the morning the day before, and I rarely schedule two trips the same day. The first Wednesday in April I had another appointment at my local library, and when I noticed the bus had missed the time frame for my pick up, I called dispatch, and they told me the driver was running late and would pick me up in about twenty minutes: That meant I'd be late, and they picked me up late. Then we hit heavy traffic on Camino Del Sol. Other drivers take Hacinto then Rose Avenue to avoid traffic. I was very late to my appointment. The pick up was just about a ten minute wait.

This service is the utmost horrible service the city could offer!!! I say with a lady wait for OVER an hour for them to tell her she was waiting g in the wrong spot which was absolutely not true!!! This woman was sitting in a wheelchair had to use the restroom and was just horribly upset I’ve never seen somebody treated so badly. The Service should be absolutely embarrassed how they treat their clients. This is not the first time I’ve witnessed this. It’s more like the third time. I feel sorry for people that have to use the service. Hopefully, I’ll never be one of them
