    Great starter company, don't come here in the south if you're expecting over $1100 a week. (Unless you're working weekends ofc) Up north they just treat their drivers better and pay them more PLUS way more miles. I average 870-1150 $ a week and only get 1700-2000 miles a week (low of 1200 in a week and high of 3000 staying out)

    First two months have been nice. Getting two full days home every week. My truck was well maintained and clean when I got it. Getting 2500ish miles everyweek. $1400-$1500 gross weekly. Mostly drywall but it's easy. Work for them, they'll work for you

    I'm redoing my review now that I've been on the road a few years. It's a good starter company especially if you're fresh out of school and have no experience. The pay was a little low I averaged maybe $1,100 take-home pay a week. Basically get about 6-7 months and get out of there they only give a penny raise every year. It genuinely is a good starter company you want to do flatbed your first year that way you get acclimated to the worst possible job. if they paid for money it genuinely would be an okay company.

    Gypsum Express is a good company to drive for. I am normally home 2 days a week, Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun, sometimes Sun/Mo. They pay me .47/mi loaded and .39/mi empty and it has its up and down like any other company. What I really like about it is that the owner is also a driver and he understands what you go through. My driver manager is pretty good too and she does whatever she can to take care of me when I have a problem. I like working here and wish that more people knew about the comapny. There are times like everywhere else where you do not get home regular, like you may not get home until Sunday but that's just part of driving a truck.

    Let me start by saying gypsum Express as a starter company only!!! Gypsum Express has a serious communication problem they do not communicate whatsoever with the drivers!!! Danville Virginia has an awful dispatcher I'm not for sure of the other terminals but do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!! You get no miles and also equipment that breaks down all the time and they make up rules every single week like first graders playing hide and go seek. They make it sound good by giving you 47 cpm. But you have no miles you don't know what you're doing from day today or load to load. You have no way of planning your week or your day. Basically that have too many chiefs and not enough Indians!!! The insurance that gypsum offers is a joke if you need insurance for your family do not I repeat do not go there!!!!! You will go bankrupt with that insurance!!! Basically gypsum is the kid with the magnifying glass and the drivers are the ants!!!
