    The equipment is always an issue when either picking up or dropping off. It seems that they are under staffed to keep up with maintaining safe environment so corners are cut just to get them out on the road. Time lost due to not keeping my tires rolling when out on the road for a 2 week period. The micromanaging cameras are very annoying.

    Trailers are junk. Always experiencing issues with tractor. Poor communication. The jobs have a lot of down time. The equipment team needs to to more pride in their work.

    I honestly don't know where to start with this company. Theirs great people who work here and your dispatch will be amazing. I love the open door policy, but the work life and personal life has no equal balance. If you work from the Newcastle de terminal , you will work 6 days a week and be home daily. Some days short, most days you will burn your clock for other people mess ups. The money is mid (percentage pay), close to normal making just the same as a dedicated account at mega carrier company. You will haul port containers that are 90% garbage and will waste time finding a yard jokey to transfer your load to another. Maintenance on trucks are poor. They will "assign" you a personal truck but other drivers will drive your truck to the ground causing YOU to drive someone else's truck. The process will continue until you notice everyone else's truck is down as well. Too many drivers, not enough trucks. This company have great potential, but if it was up to me I would do OTR with them. They have nice trucks and get paid by the mile. Oh, and no room for growth. What you make when you sign on, is what you make until you leave. I'm not sure why this company is high on ratings when no one is being honest. As a fellow trucker, I believe we all should tell each other the truth to look out for one another. This job is perfect for those who are older and need something to do for time to fly by. If you're young, only come to get on your feet financially and look elsewhere. Blessings to all.

Overall it's a good company because they will run your ### off and you will make good money but I don't understand why everybody keeps saying the equipment is well maintained. They need to start investing in new trailers.

    Great company to work for. Unfortunately not had to depart from the company. Nothing the company did, I failed a random drug test. Unknowingly took gummies that had thc in it. Yes I'm a dumb ###. Love the company hope I'm able to return in the near future. I was with them since 2016. Listening to other drivers and the companies they've worked for, it's safe to say LEONARDS EXPRESS is top notch.

    Equipment is usually pretty good. They have kept me running pretty well, usually about 1.5k-2.5k a week. Mostly live loads and unloads, but they do have drop and hooks with certain places. They are very good about getting you where they want for your hometime. All the dispatchers I've had were easy to get along with.

    This is a real good company to work for. I have been driving truck for almost 32 years. Leonard's Express treats us good,good benefits and good pay. No,they aren't perfect, but I have yet to see a company who is.
