Decent peterbilts, decent upkeep. I did have to struggle to thread a makeshift strap through the release latch on the upper bunk so that I could let it down flat, for storage. Shop should've caught that ans fixed it before issuing to a new hire. Overall is good though. Driver mgr was experienced but ne to the company as well. We were learning together. Orientation seemed long for a company that didn't really prepare you that good. They use a tablet for blogs, and was shown very little about it. Major issues with the office getting the login criteria correct for each of us in orientation. Got on the road and fuel card wouldn't work. This continues the 1 at 30 days. Saying it was a glitch, I think they do it on new hires and just don't say it. Cards are saying possible fraud. They fix, then it doesn't work again next fuel stop. They have after hours staff, but there is often nobody there. Messaging or phone. Drivers do nit have the ability to switch the reefer to continuous. It has to be done remotely by the big CEOs, and we know they work bankers hours. So many loads, it just didn't get switched over from start/stop, even though the driver signs that it will run continuous. Asked for an efs for a trailer wash out (no beacon around), no answer to me on tablet. Then I called 3 times and finally got someone. Got efs immediately. Then 8 hours later, after hours dept. answered the message on the tablet, issuing an efs for a lumper fee. Replied nack that it was for a washout and had already called in to get it. Later I was messaged multiple times asking for the lumper receipt. Delivery appts can be scheduled right, not allowing the time needed to get through the big cities and congested traffic. Had to do many split breaks, then was out of hours after the split ended, had to leave the Walmart DC, so i took an hos violation to drive to a truck stop 2.5 miles down the road (oh yeah, because they don't give new hires the ability to use PC for the first 30 days), then risk management calls to inform me of the hos policy and could lead to termination. I told him if I had PC then it would've been fine. So not my problem, but theirs. Was 2.5 hours late for the 1st of 2 drops. Had to reschedule, 33 hours later. Then the other had to be rescheduled as well. Sat for 24 hours waiting on that one. No layover pay because I was late. Few loads later I showed up for a pick up and was told I was a day early. Waiting again. Then the delivery never was rescheduled until I asked about it. Had a 14 hour drive to do in a 22 hour window. Finally, they approved to split it at a terminal the next morning..then sent a reload for later that night, after splitting the load. I grabbed an mt, went to check in early hoping to load early, Fri morning instead of late...22:00.... was told the load appt was for the following Monday. And they close at 15:00, so they never load after 15:00. I took the trailer back to the terminal and bobtail to the home terminal and flying home tomorrow Tried to call dm, gone for the day, tried to call the load planner, no answer, tried to call the CEOs, neither answered. This place is a huge NO. NO, NO, NO!!!!

They only have 2 owner operators because they would make more as a company driver the pay is that low. They dispatch you by what computer puts out and if it doesn't have a load you sit and you don't get miles. They spend more time in meetings talking about work than keeping people working.
