    When you work here they write you up for everything they are micromanagers Big brother watches you truck cam. The cam goes of randomly for no reason and someone watches it to see if you are doing something that they call wrong so they can write you up. I talk to a man that quit before me and he told me that they constantly write you up for bs drive cams. I never understood until I had to endure them. The management is two faced. They act like your best friend but they stab you in the back any chance they get. They do not mind working you to death and having you save their butts but if you break down late at night you are on your own and you cannot get any managers help. The equipment is crap. They use freightliner and they are dirty. You have to share trucks with dirty truckers The pay is ok but they won't pay incentives if you're hourly and they try and cheat you as much as they can. They never gave me an incentive for getting a new driver hire for them because he did not have miles. Wow a company that is desperate should be grateful to people trying to help out and pay them. I would never recommend working here unless you needed something quick but as soon as you start working here start looking for another job the managers mess up all the time also and they never get written up or fired.

    This company McClain company is a very bad company to work for these individuals in leadership and in HR are outrageously ridiculous they don't know how to operate a business they have a fast turnover the pay rate sucks the equipment they have sucks and always breaking down so if you're running a restaurant do not call McClain for any of your services at all I would never recommend them for nothing

    I'm a Truck Driver. McClane up in Fredericksburg Va. LOOK for ways to make your life difficult. Had to bring one rejected pallet back. Because it was wrong product. Then shipper said bring back next day. I check in was just explaining to the girl I had one pallet and that I was behind 8 truck. Then she says We'll these trucks all have appts. We'll yea duh. I've been doing thus for 10 years. I said ok another 9 hr wait Then. I said it in a positive way because that's detention. I'm getting paid.Then I go back outside this lady says was this my paperwork I Said yes. Then she says if I have a problem with the wait I should leave. Now I said no all i said was ill probably be 9 hrs here again and get paid detention. See how they like to twist drivers words around. So end of story I'm waiting to get one pallet off of this truck.

    The company looks at you as number and that's it. The equipment is subpar and that's mostly due to there Ryder contract while they tell you not to run the #### equipment they often run out and make you run with out safety equipment or with air leaks and what not.

    Usually make a minimum of $1850 a week during colder months, average closer to $2200 weekly, averages out to about $42 an hour. Dispatch will help you make as much as you want to make but can feel overworked sometimes

    I work out of SWDC/McLane Grocery out of Temple TX. Terrible Equipment Management doesn't care about said EQUIPMENT. Or the drivers. Mechanics can't and won't fix stuff

    You like working 20-30 hours straight? Then you'll love Mclane! Pay isn't that good when you figure out how many hours you spend in the truck.its a 20$ an hour job. You just get to work 70 hours+a week. I've had weeks where I spent 90 hours in the truck to mAke 1250$ For a "local" driving job... that's kind of insane
