Barrett Negus wasted 2 hours of our time by repeatedly stringing us along and falsely assuring us that the load was being finalized. We were emailed things like, “Give us a few minutes,” “About to put it in the system,” and “I just received the PU # for El Dorado to Richmond, IN.” Based on those repeated confirmations, we kept our truck committed and waiting out of professionalism and good faith. We do not make commitments and then abandon them when it becomes inconvenient. Barrett had no problem doing exactly that. After keeping our truck tied up for 2 hours with one excuse after another, he ultimately walked away from the load. If the load was not actually secured, he should have been upfront about it from the beginning instead of making repeated promises and wasting our valuable time. Stop stringing carriers along with false assurances when you do not have a load secured.

Hauled a load for them appointment was for 7am and sat at the receiver 7am to 1pm. Was told once I sent in POD I would be paid for 4hrs of detention and get an updated rate confirmation which was fine. Sent in POD and never received the updated rate confirmation. Will be my first and last time working with this broker can’t stand liars.
