Clean bus with a professional driver!

The driver of the bus is one of the rudest people I have had the displeasure of dealing with. The dispatcher Danny is not a peach himself. This is a company that doesn't follow the simple loading zone rules in the city of Chicago. This coach was parked in my loading zone for about a half an hour and I requested the driver to move. I explained to him I pay for the loading zone. I have a visual product at my art gallery and it would be great if he could find a new spot. This driver wanted to question how late do I sell art. He didn't like that I said goodbye after I requested pleasantly that he leave. I said to him why don't you say you're sorry first and then I will say I'm sorry. He didn't like that solution. He then said he wasn't going to leave. I called the police and the City of Chicago services were infringed by Midwest Motor Coach who thinks their business should make money at the expense of small business owners that have politely asked them not to infringe on another business. If you employ these people to provide bus services just know they are likely going to be illegally parking and infringing on other small businesses. If they're polite to you it's because they want to get paid. If they don't think they're going to get paid they're not going to be polite has been my experience.

Olson's always had the BEST schoolbus field trips for downtown Loop & entire 6-county Greater Chicagoland region, i.e. north shore, gold coast, Magnificent Mile🛍️, Navy Pier🎡, Hyde Park, Greektown, Chinatown, western 'burbs, Batavia, Fermilab, pumpkin farms each fall 🎃, IL 43 Haunted Trails arcade/go kart park🏎️, Cantigny Museum, 140 yr. old live turtle 🐢at The Grove in Glenview, the Home Alone 🎥 movie house, Homer's Ice Cream, tons o' fun. I was a driver back before Meigs Field closed, before Dominick's closed 🛒, and when the Allstate Arena was The Rosemont Horizon. The 3 bros. Randy/Rob/Raymond are top notch Americans 🇺🇸 and me & the other field trip schoolbus drivers enjoyed chauffeuring the passengers to the fun Chicago attractions (southern Wisconsin too). Very pleasant driver/employee meetings & group meals. I got to meet Jesse Jackson, another driver met Michael Jordan, very fun, very fun. Some years back, the Untouchables Tour black schoolbus broke down so they must've called Olson & then I was assigned that day to drive a yellow Olson bus for the historic Untouchables tour. I enjoy fond memories of being an Olson driver. In spare time now I made an 18-string elect. guitar and a ukelele at home after I retired 2016 due to heart issues & after my wife passed away. It was good experience to drive an Olson bus in Chicago, thanks, Frederick Woods II 🇺🇸 .

Very nice buses for our group trip to Omaha. Driver was on time and prompt and very professional. Would recommend

This past weekend was a total disaster we utilized Olson transportation to attend a drill team competition thee Bus broke down as we boarded with equipment and the team which was devastating.As parents we had to think fast calling Ubers which weren’t available. We literally payed the hotel staff to use there van to make 9-10 trips to the venue which was overwhelming but thee hotel made it happen. That’s to and from thee Event which was 20 min away from hotel. We had senior parents whom had to walk great distances for food due to the inconvenience of Olson transportation. 9hours after a 2nd bus arrives and it was as miserable as thee first Bus. 50 bodies that couldn’t hygiene because we were checked out thee hotel due to our transportation breakdown and then here comes a Bus with No air conditioning coming back to lake county Illinois from Dayton Ohio. This was thee most miserable trip that anyone could experience.Olson transportation should be ashamed of themselves and sued. For Safety issues and so many other mishaps I wouldn’t recommend them to ever transport kids seniors or anyone else clearly they don’t care. As volunteers in 3 separate branches of services we were definitely disappointed in the humanity of this company.

Used a bus for our hockey game , Mario the driver was super nice. Bus was clean , lots of space. Very pleased will definitely book again . Thank you

We used Olson Transportation for our wedding shuttle bus. Patty, our driver, was very pleasant and on time. The Shuttle was in perfect condition and the ride was smooth. If you need a shuttle for your wedding go with Olson, Jim was a pleasure working with from the start!
