My experience with this company involved serious pay transparency concerns. Settlement statements included large deductions without clear documentation or itemized invoices when requested. Communication regarding pay disputes was inconsistent and it was difficult to obtain clear explanations about how certain charges were calculated. Drivers should carefully review every settlement statement and keep their own records of miles, deductions, and communications. Pay clarity and proper documentation are extremely important in this industry, and in my experience those standards were not consistently met.

Have been working with Overlog since 2018. Never been late on payment, they do everything legal and have proffesional team. Yes you will be charged if you make problems, i heard they take escrow from drivers if they abonded trucks, failed drug test etc but thats usual and normal for every company. Max is the best dispatcher ever!

Very lack of miles. Reset is a weekly thing. Pay bad. Hometime goes the minute the truck is park and they go by central time ( Illinois)

Safety is top notch and never want you to be unlawful or out of compliance with DOT. My advice is to take off every two weeks, it helps you cope with the inexperienced dispatchers. ????

If you're a truck driver considering Overlog, Inc., let me save you some time and heartache: stay far away. This company has proven time and again that it does not value its drivers, prioritizing its own interests while leaving its employees stranded-literally and figuratively. Here's a breakdown of my miserable experience: Terrible Communication The lack of communication here is astonishing. They repeatedly fail to return calls as promised, forcing drivers to chase them for answers. Verbal conversations are even worse. They'll overtalk you, dismiss your concerns, and outright lie about what was said. I quickly learned to document everything via email or text just to avoid the blatant dishonesty. Inadequate Fleet Support Mark, the so-called Fleet Manager, is the epitome of unhelpfulness. When I reached out for assistance with truck issues, his go-to advice was to "ask a stranger for help." Let that sink in. A professional trucking company expects its drivers to rely on random passersby instead of providing adequate support. Equipment Nightmares The equipment at Overlog is an absolute disaster. Trucks are in constant need of repair, and their approach to fixing problems is laughable. I once had a coolant leak in freezing temperatures, and rather than prioritize my safety, they reluctantly booked me a single night at a hotel and then abandoned the issue. The weekend crew had no clue about my situation, leaving me scrambling for shelter. Zero Concern for Driver Needs Payroll Incompetence: My first paycheck? Late. My third paycheck? Held hostage for four days until I returned to work, despite explaining that I had overdue rent to pay. Broken Promises: I was assured a load that would take me home to vote in the election. Instead, I was sent even farther away, robbing me of my opportunity to participate in democracy. Repair Neglect: Despite repeatedly requesting repairs, my truck's issues were ignored until it finally broke down. Then, I was charged $500 for something entirely outside of my control. Unjust Penalties Overlog has a habit of making drivers pay for their mistakes. I was once forced to drive past my legal hours to make a delivery, only to be fined $400 when DOT violations inevitably followed. Instead of owning up to their poor planning, they pinned the blame squarely on me. Final Thoughts Overlog, Inc. is a toxic environment for any driver. Their blatant disregard for their employees' safety, financial stability, and overall well-being is staggering. If you're a driver who values your time, dignity, and livelihood, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Overlog is not worth the stress, lies, or financial burden they'll impose on you. Drivers, steer clear.

As we roll into our 6th year together, I wanted to drop a public Thank You to everyone at Overlog. I met Vlad in a trucking group while working with a mega carrier, and I told him his offer was "too good to be true"! Well it wasn't! It's been a pretty good ride, not always perfect but as a team, we've been solid. They're family owned and operated, I've been able to depend on the same people as day one. The girls in the office keep me PAID! and safe! Big thanks to Anna n Julianna, Vanessa and Edith. Appreciate all you do! To all our dispatchers! Through these years we've had the opportunity to work with each of you independently or through after hour dispatch and/or whatever situation has come up! As a whole!, you guys rock!! As with all work relationships, we've had our moments, mutual disappointment, delays, breakdowns etc... thank you to each of you! Alex, John, Andrew, Mike, Paul, you guys are truly the best! To the og's, Dennis, Max and Vlad, thanks for all you do to ensure the professional workplace overlog continues to grow into. It's been awesome to watch all of you grow professionally and personally. Happiest of Holiday wishes sent to each and everyone of you.

seeing all these bad experiences on here i want to share my current employment. i'm a company driver. been with them about 9 months total. the miles have been very steady and plentiful except the last couple weeks but you'll have that. i'm currently in a truck that i got a few weeks ago only had 900 miles on it. so not bad. direct deposit every week with no funny business. i give 4 stars all across the board because i don't care who you are we all have room for improvement. when i want or need to get home there's no question. i'm happy here. been driving since 2013. i average 2-3k a week. i'm not micromanaged in the slightest. however that could be different for another persons experience. most of the bad reviews i've seen are people trying the lease purchase. look if you want to be an owner operator start by showing some discipline and stacking up a savings for a down payment for a truck that is truly yours from day one unless you directly don't pay the bank. then you can try leasing on with companies. if it's not working at this one try another until you find your fit. but i like the guarantee i'm gettin paid for the miles i'm driving with no deductions. well i could go on longer but this is plenty long. i recommend working for this company 100% as a company driver because that's all i've had experience with here. god bless all. be united. love that neighbor.

This company is a scam. They took 2 of my paychecks and my escrow. I am a company driver. I been with the company for 2 months. They don't pay detention time. They are not a good company to work for. They told me that they would reimburse me for my flight to Chicago for the orientation, my ticket was $600.00, they paid $150.00.Same with the hotel room.
