I’ve been around this business long enough to know there’s no such thing as a perfect trucking company. Every company has its good days and bad days, but PAM International has honestly been one of the best companies I’ve worked with. What I respect most is that they don’t put a ceiling on you. If you’re willing to work, stay disciplined, and make smart decisions, they give you the opportunity and the tools to grow. Whether you want to be a company driver, rent a truck, get into a lease, or eventually build your own business, there’s room to move up. I’ve also got to give credit to the dispatchers. Anyone who really understands trucking knows freight rates change every day. Two drivers can pick up similar loads going to the same area and still get paid differently because of the broker, the timing, the market, and how the load was negotiated. That’s trucking. Even in a bad freight market, these dispatchers hustle and pull some great loads when other companies are struggling to find anything worth hauling. PAM isn’t perfect, but they’ve given me a real opportunity to make good money and keep growing. I’ve seen drivers leave thinking the grass was greener somewhere else, only to come back later after realizing what they had here. At the end of the day, trucking is what you make of it. If you show up, work hard, communicate, and handle your business, PAM International gives you a real shot at succeeding. I appreciate Tina, my dispatchers, and everyone who has helped me along the way. I’d recommend PAM to any serious driver who is ready to work and wants an opportunity to grow.
