Liz or Elizabeth the dispatch girl, was the utmost rude unprofessional person I have personally ever delt with when it comes to a business, especially that I'm paying so much money for. I will include screenshots of what she said here. So this is a long one but worth it guys. I used AB Moving Services and they evidently use Starline trucking as a Moving truck for their company. I was Moving from Wisconsin to Alabama. First AB guy was very nice and gave me a quote of 2400 to move all the things for me. The next guy called closer to time went over my things again, same things mind you and way upped the price. Called again went way up yet again. Still reasonable at this point, im a flexible person. Then when it got closer to the date the price got drove sky high to where I had to pick and choose what I wanted to keep and leave 2 weeks before Christmas. I have a toddler and a disabled mother to take care of on top of this. Then when it came time for pick up they sent one smaller guy to lift all my solid oak and wood furniture, washer/dryer and fairly heavy things whom said he could only bring 2 mattresses and a table for my square footage. This whole time this Liz girl i was in contact with gave me no discounts for them rescheduling last minute into their 6 hr window of when they would come and pick it up. Going into 2 days before Christmas is when the small guy finally showed up and we just sent him back because at over 6 times what I was quoted originally and signed a contract for. I could get multiple uhauls and drive it back and fourth with gas for that price. I am warning you please save yourself the time stress energy and money and read reviews before you book with anyone. Never use these people if you don't want to be completely taken advantage of. All they are concerned about is making much money off people when they are at their most vulnerable and at their mercy. You are not at their mercy. Do not give them your deposit they will absolutely not refund it under any condition I was told. I'm so glad I did not give them anymore of my hard earned money. Starline trucking and AB moving services. Please head my warning. Budget rentals you will have to drive the truck yourself but a small fraction of the stress and attitude and price you will pay. I hope this finds you all well! Also I will be reporting both of their actions to the Better Buisness Bureau. In hopes that Noone has to go through what I went through.
