    I drive at Feldspar owned by Trimac. It is a wonderful place to work best dispatcher I have ever had. He understands the trucking industry he used to drive for Feldspar.

    PLEASE DON'T WORK FOR THEM, READ ALL THE REVIEWS YOU WILL FIND THESE SAME AWFUL EXPERIENCES THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE REPORTING, I WISH I KNEW THIS EARLIER. As many people already stated it, you are a joke to them. Sherwood park, Edmonton AB. Management do not care, people don't respond to emails or calls. They know exactly what they are doing. They hire as many lease operators as they can at the end of winter. Because fuel get little busy for couple of months. I was 1 of them, I wasted 2 months on hiring process, paperwork, orientations for company and then you do orientation for fuel refineries. You do not get paid for this just 900 for the company orientation, thats it. After that you will be sent with a company driver for fuel training. For the training you get paid as an company driver but they will deduct insurance and license fees from it. You can expect the training from 1 month to 2 months. After the training, they did not give me any work for 2 weeks and then 2 days per week after that. By the way they are still hiring at this time when drivers are sitting home. Basically I made 4000 gross in 1 months. Wasted so much time. It doesn't cost them anything, you have to go through training, orientations, truck inspections and then if you are sitting home, they don't care. And the cycle repeats every year, just to keep their customers happy for those couple months and make some extra money from seasonal jobs but they will not tell you that. Rest of the year you will sit home and get tired and quit. They will hire again next year. By the way there are people who makes really good money here, I know because I have friends who work for lease operators as drivers. They are working for some time, they keep getting work. I even heard people give gifts to management (basically bribe them for steady work) not sure how true that is! But for new guys like me, you are just going to be the extra in case they need you. And it's not like you will get less work, no no you barely get any work basically. They are playing with people's livelihood, if you have a new truck with payments, you will go broke, just breaks my heart

    What once was, is no longer.....Before upper management decided to to do cuts everywhere this place use to actually be an alright place to work. Central Dispatching is a joke, after hours dispatch is clueless and cant make any decisions, thats if they even answer the phone. Pay is low considering most of the work need specialized training, you need to fight to get raises even though the cost of living keeps increasing. Upper Management only cares about filling the pockets of the all mighty share holders/owners. Everyone managers, dispatch, shop and drivers are all overworked due to cuts. Safety use to be #1 but since all the cuts started it has pushed to the back of the line till something happens then evryone starts squirming. Maintenace on equipment has slacked due to cost cuts, nothing ever in stock so things take longer to be repaired and back in service. The hours suck but if the employees actually felt appreciated the low wages wouldnt hurt as bad. Its to bad, because the work, most customers and most of the guys you work with are pretty good. Upper Management needs a makeover

    Very friendly staff that seem invested in you, unlike a place like Schneider where you were just a number. Very little stress in the job, easy assignments, great customers although some customers are difficult to deliver to. Training Pay was great, most of the equipment is new.
