    Company is a racist piece of trash and will leave you stranded. Dispatch needs a handbook on morals. I wouldn't ever work for nor refer any independent contractor to sign on with these people.

    Varsity Driveaway INC is one of many Driveaway companies sprouting up of late. Their main focus is supplying drivers for PPL (Pleasant Parie Logistics) who are hired as independent contractors 1099 . In order to lessen the strain that Unionized affiliated drivers is have in relationships to PPL. These third party service providers then swallow up what differences there are between the expenses Unionized drivers get and independent contractors and put all claims solely upon the independent contractor by not carrying insurance coverage for claims. In addition a escrow account in to be provided by the independent contractors which is in essence their money held against claims and held 2-3 months passed their discharge. The explanation is that claims can be filed up to 45 days after delivery. This is not true any and all claims are immediately dealt with yet is us my belief that these companies use this tactic to collect interest off your money.
