How this list is different

Search "worst trucking companies" and most of what ranks is written by personal-injury law firms recycling crash statistics — a measure of accidents, not of what it's like to be employed there. The other common source is decade-old forum threads. This list uses neither: it ranks companies purely by the reviews Oculus Reviews holds for each carrier — reviews posted publicly about them across the web together with reviews written directly on Oculus Reviews.

Methodology: every company below has at least 5 rated reviews; ranking is by straight average rating (lowest first) as of July 10, 2026. Companies can claim their profile and respond to any review — but they can't edit or delete them. The list regenerates as new reviews arrive.
